Apply to Westville Community Nursery School
WCNS provides a high quality preschool experience for children ages 3-5; children must be 3 by December 31st. WCNS serves children and families in New Haven and other neighboring communities. WCNS functions as a teaching model for Southern Connecticut State University, Gateway Community College and Naugatuck Valley Community College students and other Early Childhood educators.

Enrollment Period
Applications may be submitted throughout the calendar year; it is recommended to submit applications in the Fall for the following school year. Once your application and $40 application fee is received, we will schedule an appointment for you to tour the school. Tours provide valuable information about WCNS's philosophy, routines, and environment. It is an opportunity to view the classroom, observe interactions between teachers and children, ask questions about the program, and determine if the school is the right fit for your child.
Decisions regarding enrollment are generally made in February, at which time contracts are mailed to families. Families are expected to make an enrollment decision and return contracts with a deposit within two weeks.
Please note: Contracts are issued for a 10-month school year.
As we often receive more applications than available spots in the classroom, we keep an active wait list. If your child is not offered a place for the upcoming school year, you must submit a new application for admission the following Fall.
